Safety

Adiba House was built using Quad Lock concrete building solutions. Constructed with Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) the building has outstanding safety features. In comparison to other building technologies it has much higher chances than traditional buildings of surviving natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods.

Due to the usage of expanded polystyrene (EPS) which is coated with a fire retardant the EPS foams can withstand flames for up to four hours. In the unlikely event of a fire this gives the inhabitants enough time to get to safety.

In addition the combination of ICFs and EPS create a strong sound barrier which reduces noise pollution. Compared to wood framed walls with fibreglass insulation ICF walls only allow less than a third of outside noises through. Thereby the Adiba House creates a living environment which is both safe and comfortable.
